The Max Mara show opened with a slipdress and matching topper in a pale neutral, the first of many of these monochromatic “twin sets,” as the show notes called such combos. The collection had a minimalist, urbane mission; a cashmere head scarf was the only homespun touch in a quietly show.
Besides those roomy, buttonless coats other sleek options included double-face cashmere camisoles, mannish jackets, trim culottes and pencil skirts, and streamlined rompers and jumpsuits with boxy, T-shirt-shaped tops.
With colors grounded in pearly shades, variation came via the fabrics and textures: linens robust and in handkerchief weights; smooth leather; mottled denim-looking canvas; buy now viagra sheer knits, and silver and gold lamé.
Besides the creme colors vivid jewel tones showed up changing the allure and impact of the same silhouettes.

Like many of this week’s collection Proenza Schouler breathed serenity and a sense of pureness. Inspired by mid-century furniture designers (and with ‘domesticity’ as a theme) Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough presented a nature inspired selection of looks of which the designers’Resort collection viagra pfizer canada turned out to be a small preview. Created in neutrals like cream, clay, navy and white they sent highly elegant designs down their runway. Like suede tops, pants and dresses, like luxurious coats with special turnlock closures. Like structured tops and dresses with a low V-line, as well as glamourous pleated lame skirts. A furlike coat stood out from the crowd and the one print for spring was black with a white paint roller effect to it. Cropped tops once again proved to create a strong look, especially in the mix of those long and lean looks. Bronze nature-inspired necklaces fit in with the collection’s theme. How far you can get with a theme that might appear so dull at first…

Modern, clean, simple but interesting; that’s Narcisco Rodriguez for upcoming spring/summer. The designer introduced the “half-skirt”, which had indeed (slightly) more body than the mini and sounds more sophisticated too. Furthermore the collection was a celebration of perfect cuts and simplicity. Yet while his designs might have looked simple, Rodriguez’ construction was anything but that. Shift dresses, skirts and sheer tops were composed of lots of different geometric pieces sown together. This giving the designs an extra graphic/architectural layer as well as the option of having multiple textures and prints in one single piece. Yet no matter how complicated that blending process might have been in the workroom, on the runway the fabrics seemed to have just melted right into each other, resulting in show stopping yet sober creations. Towards the end Rodriguez even introduced, what he referred to as ‘a new kind of lace’; detailed, silver shaded, lacy, floral printed fabrics bonded to the silk background of a few slip dresses. The result? A minimalistic viagra buy india success collection, created with the maximum amount of precision and passion.

His latest collections might not all have been hits, but for s/s2014 Michael Kors is back on track. The American designers sent out a perfect collection of wearable designs for a walk in the park on the first day of spring as well as for those mid summer hot NYC rooftop parties. He described the designs as “romantic but tailored”, which translated into soft, fluid tailoring with a focus on the waist. Forties and seventies were brought together in light printed flare dresses, high waisted shorts with neat shirts tucked into them and pencil skirts worn with python printed (leather) tops. Most girls looked office proof, yet thanks to the floral printed skirts (and matching bikini tops) they could be beach ready within minutes too. High slits and viagra on line canada low V-lines took the collection into evening wear, where sheer fabrics and small cut-outs made Kors’ women appear even more seductive. Leaf prints and a natural color palette ranging from white to green, and beige to navy were simple but perfect. Nothing too shocking or extremely progressive here, just beautiful clothes for the American (minded) woman.

At the Marc by Marc Jacobs show boys and girls dressed alike in a variation of suits took us back to the eighties. Almost everything got a shiny touch, varying from metallic pieces (like a silver coat and a blue sequined jumpsuit) to shimmering silk designs (like a high waisted graphical red and white ensemble or a light blue silky suit) and sportive satin shorts and jackets. Flamelike figures and studded stars buy cheap viagra now even had a bit of a circus feeling to them, yet overall the vibe was sporty and relaxed. We’re curious to see just how flattering some of the fabrics will look on “real women”, but Marc will surely have some less extreme, afforable pieces ready for his large fanbase.

For next summer Oscar de la Renta again succeeded in creating beautiful designs in which every woman can look like the best version of herself. Pencil skirts, lace dresses, A-line skirts; his collection once again was a celebration of femininity. And the designer might have turned 82 this summer, he proved he can still produce pieces that, although intended mostly classic, feel young and fresh. He showed checks, polka dots, hounds tooth and floral prints on classical skirts suits and dresses. As he introduced a wide series of flared dresses things got a little more playful and colorful. Chunky necklaces and large colored earrings added to that effect. A selection of beige shaded skirts and tops felt young and perfect for a young A-lister’s red carpet appearance during upcoming award season. But there’s no doubt the more dramatic, Elizabethan gowns (with ruffs, embroideries and lace incl. a few veiled numbers) that closed the show, will find their way into some celebrity’s hands either.

Like with their fall collection Kate and Laura Mulleavy used the city of Los Angeles (where their roots are) as a theme for spring summer. A very wide source of inspiration, open to many different interpretations. The style indeed was very L.A. but even in L.A. terms the designs appeared like they were trying just a little too hard. The coolness of a cap (worn backwards), a checked shirt, dungarees and denim shorts, which are big trend items right now, kind of disapeared by the overkill of it. cheap viagra professional Worn all together with leopard prints, bare bellies, extra studs and locks as earrings, it was a bit much, even for a catwalk show. Now there’s no doubt women in their early twenties will be able to find a look of their choice, but that can’t possibly be all of the Mulleavy’s target group. Let’s just hope for some of the tuxedo jackets to find their way to the red carpet within a few months.

Instead of all black, designer Olivier Theyskens injected his SS14 collection for Theory with neon and color peeking out from sheer, dark layers. The neon tease was set up for the finale’s burst of real color — pink, yellow orange and white — shown in simple sheer layers for a long, lean look.
