Let’s rest our fashionable kitchen with the most fine pieces we spotted so far. On our wish list is almost every designer’s white ensemble, from Victoria Beckhams slip dress version, Veronique Branquinho’s see through ruffled dress, Balmain’s body hugging dresses, Dior’s romantic transparant cropped tops, Ferragamo’s midi-length sundress in lofty cotton and Chanel even makes us wanna wear a coat in summer (crazy right, but gotta give it a go!). Some trends just never go out of style. Take the leopard print or the little black dress. Each and every season they make their appearance on both modern looking and more classical looks. The same goes for black & white, a classic duo that never gets old. Even though the summer season might be more about color and print many fashion houses opted for monochrome looks. A safe bet, you can hardly go wrong with. Lots of checks (Balmain, Sportmax, Michael Kors) and stripes (Marni, Victoria Beckham). Some floral prints (Anteprima), a few polka dots (Marc Jacobs) and a wild touch of zebra (Roberto Cavalli). Fringes at Fendi, mesh at Balenciaga and embroideries at Chanel; enough variation to make you stand out without wearing actual colors. Then again who could resist the ultimate minimalistic chic attire we were presented with at Avelon.. Black pants and a crispy white shirt; a match made in monochrome heaven.

It might not be the most practical look (one winter storm and you´re dressed in all gray), but you can make a real fashion statement by going for a full on white colored attire. That is dresses (Céline, McCartney), coats (Ferragamo, Mulberry, Proenza Schouler), pants (Derek Lam) and capes (Valentino). Oh and no need to stress about the shoes; there’s nothing wrong with wearing a pair of black, off white, brown or even gray pumps or ankle boots with it. It’s definitely a look to just sit in and be pretty, since it will get dirty the second you actually move in it. Yet a complete white look is absolutely stunning. It is clear many international fashion houses had the same thought. Brands like Alexander Wang, Balmain, Chloé, Dolce & Gabbana, Alberta Ferretti, Michael Kors, Lacoste, Isabel Marant and Jil Sander all sent full on white looks out on their runways. Not to mention the Alexander McQueen show, which had only white looks in it.
Some looks were very serene and sober (Lacoste, Alexander Wang, Yves Saint Laurent), others seemed extravagant and playful (McQueen, Peter Som, Doo Ri, Blumarine) as they were formed out of a mix of many different materials and pieces).
Whether you go for flat or fluffy; if you go for a white look, make sure you’re dressed in white from head to toe. Oh and be sure not to move, drink or eat something; you don’t want a coffee stain to ruin your full on white ensemble.
