Victoria Beckham stayed true to her specific style of dressing: simple, lean and sexy – but this time she added some military influences to her fall collection. The sportiness of last season was gone. Beckham focused at her favorite garment: dresses. They came in strethced knits, were body hugging and stopped right above or just below the knee. There was a buttoned-up feel with pointed collars hovering at the neckline of many of the pieces, shown in an army green, black, brown, orange, and sky blue.
The coats looked sturdy, but were still elegant. Beckham kept the details subdued, a row of gold buttons, an epaulet, or graphic stripe across the body or the side. The styling was daring, with the slouchy socks over buckled-up Louboutin-boots.

Though the press seemed to like her intimate presentations in the past Victoria Beckham has moved on. On Sunday she held her first big runway show at which she sat front row herself.
Halfway the show it became clear Posh had turned into Sporty Spice showing structured hoodies and loose fitting shiny vests. Her light-colored summer dresses seemed fit for a game of tennis and even the Louboutin shoes looked comfortable.
But apart from the sporty designs there were also still a lot of elegant dresses VB’s celebrity friends would love to wear to some fancy party. A body accentuating navy and orange dress, worn by Dutchie Daphne Groeneveld, will look swell on both Eva Longoria and Katie Holmes. And a black tanktop dress could be great for Kate Winslet or Oprah.
Victoria’s collection is not only great on it’s own, it also fits in with the overall sporty vibe we’re getting from New York Fashion Week so far. We’re curious what Victoria’s second line Victoria by Vitocria Beckham will do this week, but it seems she can do no wrong.

Today the Beckhams lost their lawsuit against magazine InTouch, but nothing could disturb Victoria’s happiness. The singer-turned-designer presented her new fall collection this Sunday in New York and once again received nothing but positive reactions.
Victoria’s fall collection started off with some brights (pink, yellow, orange) and then changed to grey, army green and black. The silhouette of the designs was a bit looser than we’re used to from LaBeckham, yet felt feminine as ever. The collection appeared quite minimalistic too, since most designs were solely decorated by large zippers (on the back).
Since the brand new VB-handbag collection is a big success, of course some new bags were shown on the runway as well. Those bags and the gorgeous new shoes, designed in collaboration with Christian Louboutin, completed Victoria’s sophisticated collection.
The designer was already asked to send a bunch of her dresses to (Queen to be) Kate Middleton. Which celebrity will we spot first in dresses from this collection?
Victoria Beckham expecting fourth child
Fashion designer Victoria Beckham is expecting her fourth child. Today People announced Victoria (36) is pregnant. According to their spokesperson Victoria and Beckham were delighted to confirm they are expecting their fourth child in the summer.
That means David’s very own soccer team is growing!
Yet maybe Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz will get a baby sister (for a change).
