Creative Director Josep Font of the Spanish house Delpozo played with volume, proportion and illusion. He began with exaggerated sportswear silhouettes: the widest of red culottes paired with a white wrapped bandeau, and the fullest of skirts, beautifully done in a white, navy and green midi strapless dress with a white shirt underneath. He then shifted gears into more sculptural pieces inspired by the land art of Nils-Udo, including a yellow top with an exaggerated peplum and a sculpted flower on the bodice, and a miniskirt with origamilike panels.
He also paid homage to the 19th-century glass creations of Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka with a green tulle shirtdress embellished with seashells.

The colors of Italian artist Duilio Barnabé’s paintings and the retro-futuristic atmosphere of “Logan’s Run” merged to inspire Josep Font’s fall collection for Madrid-based Jesus Del Pozo.
The lineup touched different notes, from feminine and ethereal to severe and powerful. The contrasting moods were unified under a strong couture sensibility, a distinguishing feature of Font’s ready-to-wear efforts.
His collection opened with overcoats, dresses and separates in sculpted A-line silhouettes. These included a beige maxi cape with pointed shoulders and a brown zip jacket with a petal-like maxi collar embroidered with a floral motif, worn over a flared mini-skirt.
Then, the clothes became softer with mohair sweaters and organza and chiffon styles, such as a pleated evening shirtdress, embroidered with crystals and sequins in floral shapes.

Creative director Josep Font, who relaunched the Jesus del Pozo just over a year ago, has become known for his unique “prêt-à-couture” that combines unexpected volumes with intricate embellishments in a modern way. Font opened with a romantic off-the-shoulder top and dramatic, structured ball skirt clipped above the ankles. He showed several iterations of that statement-making silhouette (shaped by old-school hoopskirt petticoats) throughout the lineup. A sunflower-printed chiffon version looked cool paired with a relaxed gingham top, and the floral appliquéd white finale number would be stunning on viagra prescriptions a summer bride.
