For their ss 2010 collection Replay looked back at their past and selected the best from the last decades. The result: a mix and match of sportswear, all time classics and the good old denim. Remarkable were the silk dresses trimmed with denim and studs. The menswearcollection was a mix & match of fabrics and patterns, tailormade fittings and different washes.

Hyun Yeu Catwalk Fashion Show SS10

Somehow Hyun Yeu’s womenswear communicates better than his menswear. Maybe it’s because there are not so many men waiting for sensitive, boyisch clothes in sheer fabrics and soft colors. Although the theme of the collection – I still have butterflies –  is really touching and heartbreaking, because it’s about the first time a person falls in love. Ah, l’amour!

OntFront Catwalk Fashion Show SS10

Ontfront started out as an underground platform for young artists, fashion designers and musicians. Aware of the fact that the clothing industry is oversaturated, OntFront came up with a fresh concept. What do you wear when you’re grown too old for your neon one-liner t-shirts and you don’t want to wear a suit? And what do you wear when you want to look sharp, but not stiff? Sidewalk Tailoring is the answer. By combining classic suit tailoring with cutting edge street influences OntFront bridges the gap between these two distinct styles. For spring/summer 2010 OntFront created a 60 piece collection called ” Tonight is the Knight”. Inspired by the bold iron armor of the middle ages. Classic elements of the harness were translated into sophisticated and comfortable pieces for the modern knights.

Claes Iversen Catwalk Fashion Show SS10

For his new ss 2010 collection Claes Iversen found inspiration in surreal elements and the work of Rene Magritte. Classic menswear represents the hard, businesslike reality that’s a contrast towards the ever changing feminine forms. The Post-It-form is like Magritte’s apples, fishes and pipes – you’ll find it throughout the collection as a graphic element or as a symbol of connecting different techniques.
