Though dressing up has always been a big part of the streetstyle game the street have been dominated by sportswear influences for season after season now. Hoodies and joggers, caps and trainers; we’ve all never had more street cred than we did over the last few seasons. Yet, it’s time for a subtle shift! Time to start dressing up more. And that’s exactly what the streetstyle stars in the gallery below did. They put on a skirt, tucked in a top, slipped into a pair of heels and picked out a bag to match. Street chic is back, get ready!

Seoul Streetwear December 2018

Long puffer coats, short pleated skirts, face masks and knitted headpieces. Here’s a selection of the streetwear images we shot while out on the streets of Seoul last week. Another trend we picked up on: duo dressing! Whether purposely or not, we spotted quite a few good looking couples, whose dresscodes resembled each other. It’s a match! We like that!

Streetwear Trend Fall Winter 2018: Puffer Up!

The @itsmaysmemes coats are all over our Instagram this week and we can’t help but feel inspired. These puffers aren’t as impressive in size, but they sure make up for some statement streetwear looks. Keeping warm in a camouflage printed puffer, a pink metallic one or a turquoise number worn with a waist belt. And prepare yourself for some scaling up. Next season you’ll be like Kylie, Rihana or Haily dwarfed by a pair of xl puffers. Bearing the cold was never this easy. Giant jackets are the new wave.

Just a normal Thursday, but why blend in when you can stand out? Use your imagination to create an extraordinary look. Go to work in a pink suit, attend class in a floor sweeping pleated mint green skirt or a bright yellow tea dress. Use frills, make waves, mix materials, show some skin, opt for color, play with volume, add accessories. Make your outfit extra interesting, even on a normal working day. Be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons.
