This was Day 2 of Amsterdam International Fashion Week edition SS2012. Highlights – despite the rain and wind and rain and wind – of yesterday were Pauline van Dongen and Lichting 2011 with winner Sanne Schepers from Artez.

Where would we be at AIFW without the delicious food of Hot Kitchen, the cateringservice (and much more – from concepts to events) of cook Caspar Bürgi and Ward van der Graaf? Our start of the day would be dull without the the friendly talks with Elsbeth at the counter. It’s always a happy start of the day.

First Preparations Sage & Ivy-show

Preparations are in full swing for the Sage & Ivy-show this evening. Since Sage & Ivy is an outdoor show, we keep our fingers crossed. Hopefully we’ll keep it dry today.
Winde Rienstra en Gomes Esser Design Backstage AIFW SS2012
The second part of the LAB-shows was filled by Winde Rienstra and Gomes Esser Design. The handcrafted designs – and especially her shoes – were a favorite of the audience, while the futuristic creations of designers Aleyda and Denise of Gomes Esser Design also got a lot of admirers. We also went backstage to capture the tension.

Tony Cohen didn’t disappoint his audience. He gave a glamorous show with lots of light, feminine clothes. The frontrow was filled with beautifully dressed people who made something of their outfit and enjoyed the wonderful orchids in their goodiebags.
