FashionWeek Amsterdam FW2014, this was Day 1
FashionWeek Amsterdam finally kicked off yesterday with a poetic show of Mattijs and a strong presentation of Aziz Bekkaoui which received a standing ovation. The festive openingsnight closed with a big birthday-cake tot celebrate the 10-th anniversary of FashionWeek Amsterdam.
Dutch Vogue Fashion's Night Out 2013
A warm after-summer evening, canadian pharmacies that sell pfizer viagra great music, beautiful people, the second edition of Dutch Vogue Fashion’s Night Out is a fact. Amsterdam celebrated fashion to the max, with a fashion-show in department-store De Bijenkorf and several fashion-events with Dutch designers in PC Hooftstraat and Hobbemastraat ( a pop-up Vogue Warehouse!). TPS-interns Inge Brusse and Merel Klaassen captured some FNO-moments.

The second day of Fashionclash Maastricht 2013 was a busy day, with three long shows. It had an international character with designers from Peru, Slovenia, Poland and even Gibraltar. This is our impression of Day 2.

Amsterdam Fashion Week FW2013, This Was Day 2
Day two of Amsterdam Fashion Week FW2013 ended with an elegant and glamorous show of Claes Iversen. Before that the audience enjoyed the fast and upbeat show of SIS by Spijkers en Spijkers, who seemed inspired by fifties rock’n roll and punk. What all the fashionable visitors didn’t see was all the hard work behind the scenes to make the models into beautiful women.

Dutch designer Jan Taminiau loves Indian embroidery and traditional Indian unpolished jewelry and he has used the sari’s draping and pleating technique in his dresses. So working together with Suneet Varma on a co-creation collection during Dutch Fashion Here & Now is a treat to him, the duo will show this evening at the opening of India Fashion Week. In the Indian press Taminiau stated he is very excited. “The idea to have two worlds meet in creativity and passion is very exciting and new. I feel my work has a strong connection to the craftsmanship and luxurious femininity that India is famous for.”

Dutch designer Jan Taminiau is part of the delegation in New Dehli during Dutch Fashion here & Now. And the best of Indian fashion joined hands with him, designer Suneet Varma (a Bollywood favorite in India) is collaborating with Taminiau on a co-creation collection being showed tonight. Both designers worked together during the fittings, but they also joined forces in the ateliers.
