Streetstyle Icon: Chiara Ferragni
Don’t let her playful appearance full you; Chiara Ferragni may be a blogger on the outside, she’s a true business babe on the inside. Her blog The Blonde Salad has been named one of the most influential fashion blogs worldwide for years now, which makes Chiara part of the bloggers elite. In 2009 Chiara, who had a big passion for fashion, started sharing her looks. Six years later the Italian beauty reaches millions of fans around the globe with her outfit blogposts and makes a six figure salary. Her style may still be playful, the strawberry blond blogger only gets dressed in designer clothes nowadays. The biggest brands even ask her to sport their clothing before it’s presented on the runway. So don’t act surprised if you see Chiara in full on Burberry or Moschino looks that haven’t even had their catwalk debut yet. And just so you know Nike, Bottega Veneta, Isabel Marant, Kenzo, Calvin Klein, Converse and Proenza Schouler’s PR people are on her speed dial too. Blogging business is going well for this lady, who besides her Milan apartment has a second home in L.A. now, where she can get used to living the life of a Hollywood star.
Model Focus: Kendall Jenner
Together with Gigi Hadid, whom we discussed here earlier, Kendall Jenner is THE rising star in the fashion/modeling/showbiz industry. She rose to fame being part of the Kardashians family and therefore making her appearance on the TV show Keeping up with the Kardashians. But as soon as she turned 18 Kendall was off to make a career for herself, as a model that is. Whether her famous family helped or opposed this, the tall, slender brunette quickly got picked up by some of the biggest brands. Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Emilio Pucci, Fendi, Bottege Veneta, Balmain; we could hardly keep up with her. Givenchy, Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs campaigns in the pocket. Vogue, Interview, Harpers and Love magazine features all around. Famous friends Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin always by her side. Not to mention her flings with superstars like Justin Bieber and Harry Styles. Whether she’s chilling at Coachella, having a good time at a Chris Brown concert or hosting an MTV award show; Kendall is always in the right place, at the right time, surrounded by the right people. There’s no stopping this Jenner. And this is all just the beginning..
Streetstyle Icon: Helena Bordon

She is the daughter of Donata Meirelles, former international director of the Sao Paulo boutique Daslu and current style director of Brazilian Vogue. So no wonder Helena Bordon simply breaths fashion and style. Not to mention she earned her fashion credits herself.. The Brazilian beauty is a designer (she recently designed a capsule jewelry collection for Brazilian company LOOL), an entrepreneur (she’s the co-founder of the high-street fashion chain 284 (think: Zara of Brazil)) and a blogger (helenabordon.com). She effortlessly matches her Fendi bag with her MiuMiu coat and Gianvito Rossi shoes. While she can look casual cool in J Brand jeans, James Perse T-shirts, and Tod’s flats. A perfect blonde do and a sunkissed skin to match. Helena is always in the mood for some color or print and loves to support local designers: “Every time I go to Paris Fashion Week I try to bring Brazilian designers with me—to introduce them to the world.” She documents those travels as well as fashion picks, favorite restaurants and stores on her blog and she curates an e-commerce section. Her style changes a lot, therefore Helena has had countless totally different streetstyle appearances. But she has made a name for herself and is recognized by fan and photogs in every fashion capital she visits. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Kate Moss, Kate Bosworth and Miroslava Duma are some fashion ladies Helena would love to switch closets with. Yet with pieces from Chanel, Dior, Elie Saab, Prada and Peter Pilotto, we figure she has more than enough designer items to pick from herself. Now let’s drool over some of her coolest streetstyle pics…
Streetstyle Icon: Hanneli Mustaparta

When you type Hanneli Mustaparta in Google Search there’s no doubt you immediately get the sense this woman isn’t just someone who happens to be ‘just’ fashionable. Definitely not when you see her in line with other names like Leandra medine, Anna Dello Russo, Elin Kling, Chiara Ferragni and Miroslava Duma. And when you dive in even deeper, you will see she isn’t just a pretty face. Enter Hanneli Mustaparta — the Norwegian born model-turned-photographer, blogger and stylist who took the fashion world by storm.
Her razor-sharp cheekbones and long legs may already reveal her modelling potential. A career she began at the age of seventeen, but after realising that she was “never going to be a supermodel,” she turned the lens on herself. It all started out in New York in 2009 by taking some random pictures of herself and the outfits she was wearing on a daily basis and posting them on her blog Hanneli, where she posts a mix of street style photographs and self portrait shoots. But her taste for fashion and styling wasn’t so random after all as her personal style quickly gained worldwide attention from the fashion media -named by Vogue as one of the most influential bloggers- and before she knew it she became a highly acclaimed street style icon.
Her perfectly styled outfits turned her into a popular staple for street style spreads, but it’s hard to put her in a box as her style is constantly transforming from day to day. She’s a true fashion chameleon who can pull off anything, no matter what colour, fabric or silhouette or which city she’s staying. She switches easily between Scandinavian minimalism, boyish ensembles and romantic flowerpower, combining her favourite fashion labels such as Acne, Prada, Burberry, Miu Miu, Jil Sander, Lover, Mulberry, and Calvin Klein.
In a funny matter, her huge popularity took her into the modelling business again, as she starred in the Diesel Black Gold summer campaign (2013) and appeared on several magazine covers from ELLE to Cosmopolitan. Hanneli, she may not be a Supermodel, but you’re most definitely looking at a Superblogger.
Streetstyle Icon: Leandra Medine

Ever since she first appeared in the international fashion scene Leandra Medine has been the most obstinate blogger out of the bunch. On a daily base she updates her blog The Man Repeller with a vibrant mix of style reports and personal anecdotes. The latest fashion trends and updates can be found there too, but don’t expect anything too serious. Leandra likes a humorous approach, which we can clearly see in her quirky streetstyle looks.
Leandra doesn’t wear designer clothes just to look pretty and show off. She likes to communicate her vision on fashion as well. Therefore she’s not your average blogger model, although she has been the face of Uniqlo and Vero Moda. She even walked a Rebecca Minkoff fashion show. All brands who appreciate Leandra’s quirkiness, just as much as her followers and visitors do.
As if her blog and social media channels aren’t enough for her to let people hear her voice the brunette blogger even wrote her first book; Seeking Love, Finding Overalls. Fun to read, like you’d expect from her. Just as fun as her Style.com video’s are in which she tackles fashion dilemma’s as well as certain do’s and don’ts while rocking the latest designer looks.
Original, quirky outfits which always have the power to draw your attention to them. Like a Tory Burch tule skirt matched with an oversized Philip Lim turtle neck. Or a pair of super flared Tibi jeans. Leandra has an eye for detail too. She parades in Chanel clogs, Prada turbans and Balenciaga belts. Her looks are chic and fashion forward, yet she doesn’t take herself too seriously. Plus, she doesn’t care if she looks hot (for men; Man Repeller) or not, she just wear what she likes and we love her for that.
