DKNY Catwalk Fashion Show New York SS2017

The hoodie is having a big moment in fashion this season. And if it’s up to DKNY designer Osborne and Chow that trend is to stay around a little longer. For spring/summer the designer duo introduced a sportive ready to wear range full of activewear. Their model pack, lead by Bella Hadid, looked extremely tough in next season’s boiler suits, slouchy hoodies, DKNY branded sport bras and sheer jackets. Done in a palette of khaki, taupe and navy the items looked suitable for hitting the concrete jungle, NYC, where the all American brand, that was sold to a new company in order to start making profit again, has it roots. We’re not sure if the original DKNY costumer is up for this kind of streetwise fashion. Yet this youthful range will definitely appeal to a fresh young customer. And that might just be the key to the brand’s revival. At least Donna Karan, who sat front row at the show (with a broken foot) was all smiles.
