Celesto Catwalk Fashion Show Amsterdam dec 2019

Last week high-end streetwear brand Celesto presented it’s first collection at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. A collection filled with urban unisex streetwear items with a delicate touch to them, as founder of the brand Mick Miller described it. “It’s all about creating experiences”, he said. “Through fashion but also our show should be an experience to our guests”.

Fashion wise the show was divided into three collections: Chapter I, Chapter II en SS20. Silk blouses combined with cargo pants and T-shirts with the label’s unique artwork. As seen on their Instagram account, the model with the silk granny scarf on his head – a popular look with rappers these days, ask A$ap Rocky, also walked the show.

All items will be available as of the 20th of December.

Fall/Winter Detail Trend: High Shine

Whether it’s a chunky earpiece (Yohan), a pair of shimmering pants (Badgley Mischka), a reflecting cap (OffWhite), beads and sequins (McQueen) an embellished pair of sunglasses, a piece of glitter glued to a face (Sirano) of a lot of high gloss hair (Moschino); a little shine never hurt nobody. And especially with the darker days coming up, we could use a little extra spark in our daily lives. Fit for a Christmas dinner as well as another day at the office. Life’s a catwalk, have a little fun with it. Eat glitter for breakfast & shine all day!

Thierry Mugler – Couturissime at the Kunsthal in Rotterdam

Couturissime is the first retrospective on French creator Thierry Mugler. This exhibition will reveal the multiple universes of this undeniably artistic figure – visionary couturier, director, photographer and perfumer – in a retrospective of his work, especially his ready-to-wear and haute couture creations. Initiated, produced and circulated by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, in collaboration with the Clarins Group and the Maison Mugler, the exhibition’s world premiere will launch in Montreal in March 2019. Thierry Mugler’s – Couturissime can be visited till the 8th of March 2020.
