Lots of Dutch celebs spent their free afternoon at the show of Addy van den Krommenacker. It makes sense because he’s one of the favourite designers tv- and film-stars turn to for a glamorous eveningdress. Most of his fans showed up at the show and cheered during the finale.

It was a full front-row yesterday at the show of Bas Kosters, and we actually saw some fashionpro’s wearing Bas’ expressive and colorful designs. Well done people! We love a good promotion of Dutch fashion. Here’s a glimpse of who was there yesterday.

The Jan Taminiau Haute Couture-show was a much talked about show yesterday. The glow in the dark-effect fabrics, the shoes, the masks. Backstage the tension was high, but everybody was concentrated and all those hands and people made it to a wonderful collection and show.

Expectations were high at the opening-soiree of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week. Everybody was looking forward to the two shows of Jan Taminiau, Demi Couture and Haute Couture. We spotted Cecile Narinx of ELLE, Richard Kraijchek and Daphne Deckers and even James Veenhoff was shining in his tuxedo. Front row we pictured Hilmar Mulder of Grazia, Stacey Rookhuizen dressed in Jan Taminiau, models Dewi Driegen and Lonneke Engel and thank God Bastiaan van Schaik survived his scooter-accident.
ZOOM, eyes on Dutch fashion

Curious about Dutch fifty years of Dutch fashion-photography? The exhibition of Ferry van der Nat, ZOOM, eyes on Dutch Fashion, is still present in The Hague. Its a small presentation but it gives a good representative view on how strong, special and typical Dutch fashion photography is.
Dutch designers, photographers, beauty-artists, stylists and model choose their favorites and the result is a good mix of old and new work, classic, modern and avantgarde. Besides the photos there’s a little shop with vintage clothes and new work of young, Dutch talents. Designer Ted Noten is present with his latest project Haunted by 36 women.
A great location to visit while shopping in The Hague.
