Catwalk Trend Spring/Summer 2019: Polka Dot
We’ve got the hots for polka dots! The classic print that never seems to go out of style now popped up in every big fashion capital. Burberry presented us with an airy skirt + blouse with polka dot print and even made sure there was a pair of heels to match. Hedi Slimane designed an off shoulder bow shaped dress worn with biker boots. At Dolce & Gabbana it was a black and white polka dot suit paired with a green bag, green shoes and statement jewelry. Furthermore the polka dot came in the form of a blouse (Caroline Herrera), a trenchcoat (MaxMara) and a sheer dress worn over white undies. If anything we may conclude this season’s polka dot print is more versatile than it has ever been. Reason the more to like it and find the form that suits you best!

If you’ve invested in designer stuff you want to show it off. And that’s just what the logomania trend is all about. Not just in fashion but in jewelry and accessories too branded items are making up for the biggest part of the profit for most fashion houses. And so inevitably that’s where designers put the focus. Chanel, which presented an all over branded spring collection had CHANEL earrings, multi chain necklaces, body chains and bracelets. We spotted some highly desirable, chunky Balenciaga earrings. And at Dior the metal chokers proclaimed the name of the brand. Li la logomaniaaa (in full force)!
Catwalk Trend Spring/Summer 2019: New Neutrals
Sure, springtime is perfect for wearing color. After a long winter with cold and gloomy days you can’t wait to go all out with brights and prints. Yet, you know what works amazing in spring too? Elegant, chic and sophisticated; you can’t even skip this trend if you wanted to.

And as the streetstyle stars demonstrated wearing orange together can be even more fun! From ladylike to utility; orange is the new black (and works great with black too) again.

Catwalk Trend 2019: Looking chic in a garment bag
Fanny packs made up for 25 percent of the accessories market in 2018, but it might just be time we moved on to a different type of bag. Say bye to your bum bag and hi to garment bags. It might sound silly, but Vogue already declared this as a trend for 2019. Spotted on the runways of Alexander Wang and Gucci they looked like the chicest accessory we’d love to carry around. Alessandro Michele had his models wear sheer Gucci branded garment bags over their designer clothes. At Alexander Wang models carried garment bags in calf hair (Dalmatian printed) and leather. Practically speaking this bag trend is extremely useless. Think about throwing in your car keys or wallet and having to pick it out again. But as a style statement it gets our approval.
