Catwalk Trend Spring/Summer 2019: Banana & Limone
It’s the perfect spring color. It’s fresh, it’s sweet, it’s a sorbet combination of banana & limone on your Sicily holiday. We simply adore this Summer color. As do some of the bigger brands lik Chanel, Etro, Ferragamo and Marc Jacobs. Dress up head to toe in yellow as seen at Sies Marjan, Ferragamo and Etro in suits and trenches. Go seventies chic as seen at Alexa Chung. Or opt for a light yellow statement maker like that airy skirt we captured at Charlier or that ruffled up top Marc Jacobs sent out. See how goregous this shade works with army green, navy or burgundy or just keep it light and simple in the mix with some whites. Do you like it mellow?

Not a lot of rules apply in fashion these days. There’s not a print mix, color clash or gender blending ensemble that doesn’t fit in with the current style image. Yet certain things just work like peanut butter and jelly. One example? The fact that short shorts just work so damn good with long sleeved tops. It makes the hottest hot pants look luxurious. The most destroyed denim shorts become classy. It all comes down, of course, to not showing too much skin. And if you’re already showing off below, better keep it modest on the top. Alberta Ferretti, Celine and Louis Vuitton know all it about. A hoodie, a bomber, a Victoria blouse, an embroidered body or a futuristic jacket on top? Legs for days below. Now you try this out!
Catwalk Trend Spring/Summer 2019: Ticket to the Tropics
You might need some extra time (tanning & work-out sessions) for this trend, but you best start prepping. Cause there’s a lot of fun fashion coming your way. What did you think of cut-outs, fringes, hot pants and cropped tops? As seen at Blumarine, Byblos, Cortazar, Dolce & Gabbana and Etro. Opt for bright nature inspired colors like tangerine, saffron and aqua blue and don’t let any out of the box silhouettes scare you. Perfect looks for your summer holiday or weekend get away.
Streetwear Trend Spring/Summer 2019: Goggles
As if you were welding in a jewelry factory.. This year’s sunnies look more like goggles with a twist. With colored glasses and just a little bit of a different shape. Spotted out on the streets of Paris and in some of the big high street stores. The cherry on a cake of a summer look and the perfect way to hide that you’ve been out partying all weekend once Monday morning comes around.

Some judge others by their choice of footwear, others scan a whole outfit and some just focus on handbags. And they sure were in for a treat this season as the most out of the box bags made their way onto the streets. Round, pleated, fringed, beaded or boxy; you name it we captured it. Now it’s no matter of what fits in your bag, it’s all about shape, color and size (from teeny tiny to XL deluxe). And if you do need to bring along a lot of stuff, just add an extra bag (wearing two bags – bags on bags – is quite the trend these days). But perhaps you’re already rocking the utility trend and have all your pockets filled with essentials. Still in doubt about which style to choose? And all of a sudden it was summer in our country. We remember having a white Easter, but this weekend it felt like just like a weekend in June. So we pulled our short skirts, cropped tops and sandals out of our closets. Straw hats, funky sunnies and small summer bags to match. Even though we were still in the process of getting our summer body, it was time to show some skin. Legs, abs or, as is the case with this trend, shoulders. Cause if we leave it up to the larger part of the designers it’s one shoulder tops and dresses next season. Bright colored, printed or ruffled. High time to turn your cold shoulder (just before temperatures drop again).

Also: it fits right in with the new neutrals trend that is hot in both menswear and womenswear at this moment. How will you be wearing this classic color coming season?

Try not to get dizzy there. Cause you know basically all we want to see you do in these designs in twirl. Twirling around in an outfit with fringes makes up for some impressive outfit movement as well as slomo footage. Especially with these fringe looks. That red fringed cape we spotted on the streets of Paris? Such a stunner! Not to mention those arty coral colored fringe bags we captured. And for those who love a luxurious fringe, take a closer look at Tom Ford, Gucci, Oscar de la Renta and Anna Suit. They’ll instantly turn your walk into runway strutting, moving along at your pase.
Catwalk & Streetwear Trend Spring/Summer 2019: Printed Maxi Dresses
From strolling on the boulevard to cocktail sipping at the bar; a solid maxi dress can take you from day to night during the summer season. A look that never goes out of style. Dolce & Gabbana, Erdem, McQueen and Valentino know so too. Preferably floral printed, yet we love a good hint of exotic fruits as well. Not to mention a classic polka dot, a bold and graphic print or some fake snake skin print. Pair with some white booties or open shoes and you’re all set. Effortless, elegant, evergreen.
